BMI

BMI (Body Mass Index) is one popular way of indicating whether or not a person is at a healthy weight.BMI provides a numeric value for the relationship between height and weight. This value can be calculated using the imperial or the metric methods. Either method  gives the same values that are used on the BMI scale. In general,a value below indicates a person is underweight.Values  18.5  to 24.9 indicates a healthy weight.Values 25.0 to 29.9 indicate overweight. Values 30 and above indicates obesity. The ranges do vary somewhat between calculators.Different authorities find different ranges acceptable.
